As reported by El Partidazo de la COPE, Bryan Gil undergoes surgery this morning to undergo an intervention for the rupture of the external lateral ligament of his right knee. In this way, the Gaditano winger says goodbye to the season.

Míchel raised the alarm when he commented on the possible extent of the knee sprain suffered by Bryan Gil, which prevented him from playing against Valencia: "Bryan, as I have already said, has an injury to the knee and tomorrow he must talk to Doctor Cugat. We will see if an operation is necessary or not. If he needs surgery, he could miss the entire season. But if not, this Sunday will be the final tests and we will see. Cugat will make the decision with the players. It doesn't look good, although I believe there are still tests pending".

It is worth remembering that he is on loan from Tottenham until next June 30, and the Catalan club will have to evaluate whether they will exercise the purchase option stipulated in his contract, valued at 15 million euros.
