Hugo Álvarez will be out for three weeks due to a sprain in the medial collateral ligament of the right knee. The Celta player has already started his recovery process with physiotherapy treatment.

The injury occurred during last Saturday's match against Betis, a match that the homegrown player managed to finish. Hugo had only missed one league match this season, due to accumulating yellow cards. In this campaign, in La Liga, he has scored four goals and provided two assists. He is a regular starter in the celestial team.

Now he will miss the matches against Atlético de Madrid and Osasuna, and it remains to be seen if he will be ready for the match against Girona, on the first weekend of March.
