Ronald Araujo had to be substituted after 22 minutes of the match following a challenge from Saúl, who received a yellow card. Pau Cubarsí came on for the Uruguayan center-back. This morning, the Barcelona player went to the Ciutat Esportiva to undergo medical tests in order to determine the exact extent of the discomfort. Hansi Flick mentioned in yesterday's press conference that the discomfort did not seem serious: "We have to wait until tomorrow for some tests to be done but it seems that it's not a serious injury."

The test results have ruled out the presence of an injury and have confirmed that Araujo suffered a strong contusion on the ankle. He is not ruled out for the next match against Rayo Vallecano on Monday, but we will need to monitor his return to training with the team.
