Good news from Barcelona's training session on Thursday morning. Iñigo Martínez has completed part of the session with his teammates. The Basque defender, therefore, takes a first step towards his return to the field. On January 12, during the Spanish Super Cup final in Arabia against Real Madrid, he suffered an injury.

Iñigo Martínez had to be substituted after half an hour of play and medical tests confirmed that he had a hamstring rupture in his right thigh. The estimated recovery time was around a month, and it seems that the planned timeframe is being met. He has been out for almost three weeks now. The center-back is thus making progress in his recovery and this Thursday he was able to participate in part of the session with his teammates.

Hansi Flick is confident that he will be available for the match next Thursday against Valencia in the Copa del Rey.
