As reported by Cristina Cubero, deputy director of Mundo Deportivo, on January 2, Milan already expressed to Barça their interest in Olmo in case difficulties with his registration persisted. Now, Italian media such as 'Corriere della Sera' reinforce this possibility, emphasizing that Milan could incorporate Olmo as a free agent, with the commitment to facilitate his return to the Blaugrana club at the end of the season. This solution would also ensure his availability to compete with the Spanish national team during this period.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona continues to work behind the scenes. The club has requested precautionary measures from the Higher Sports Council (CSD) to proceed with Olmo's registration. If this request is not successful, the last resort would be to resort to the Contentious-Administrative Court.

His representative at ease

Andy Bara, the forward's agent, has wanted to convey a reassuring message to the culés despite the complicated situation his  represented is going through. "He's trying to stay calm," he revealed in an interview with Fabrizio Romano for 'Give me Sport', trusting that the Spanish international could wear the Blaugrana jersey this same season.

In this interview, the agent also reaffirmed that Olmo "made enormous sacrifices to join Barcelona", with his desire to play for Barcelona prevailing over economically more lucrative proposals. He also expressed his full support for the Barcelona board: "We have unconditional respect for President Laporta and Deco. They made a titanic effort to integrate Dani last summer. We are fascinated by their project, considering it an ambitious plan for the future, possibly one of the most relevant worldwide in the coming years. We are fully convinced that Barcelona will triumph, sweeping all future trophies, just as it did during Messi's era".
