Real Madrid closes 2024 at its best moment of the season. Despite the injuries to Carvajal, Militao, and the delay in Alaba's recovery, the team is competing in all possible competitions, with the dream of the Septuple intact and La Liga within reach. Despite having so many fronts open, any new additions are currently ruled out in this winter transfer market, but they are already working on next summer, where there are several possible reinforcements.

Real Madrid C.F.

The planning is conditioned by the evolution of David Alaba, whose return to the field will be key to defining priorities in defense. The solidity shown by the academy player Asencio and the reconversion of Tchouameni as a center-back have lessened the need to make signings in that position. Therefore, the two priority areas to reinforce are the right-back and the central midfield.

Right-Back

Liverpool has seen how their star right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold (26), has rejected contract renewal proposals, determined to wear the white jersey. His arrival, expected for the summer, would reinforce a position currently covered by a physically declining Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez who plays out of his natural position. The close relationship between Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham reinforces the confidence that this move will materialize.

Midfield

Replacing Kroos as the playmaker is a pending task. The options in the market are not clear, although names like Zubimendi (25) and Vitinha (24) are on the radar. Finding a creative midfielder will be essential to complete the team's setup for the upcoming season.

Left-Back

Although the left-back position is not a priority, the situation of Alphonso Davies is being closely monitored. With Fran García (25) and Ferland Mendy (29) recently renewed, the position is covered. However, Real Madrid has an agreement with Davies, who will end his contract with Bayern. The German club's pressure to renew could complicate this operation, although the board considers his possible absence a lesser evil.

In a fantasy football context, though, those of you with players from the Madrid team can rest easy for now, as we have indicated at the beginning of this article, any kind of new addition in this transfer market is completely ruled out, so the team will seek to compete for everything with the current squad.
