Athletic Club has completed a new training session with the aim of continuing to prepare for the match next Sunday against Villarreal managed by Marcelino García Toral at San Mamés Stadium, corresponding to matchday 16 of the league championship.

The Bilbao team's coach, Ernesto Valverde, led a session where the most notable absences were Nico Williams and Sancet, who remained inside the facilities doing gym work. Athletic played against Real Madrid last Wednesday and the minutes played may have led to their absences. Tomorrow's training will be crucial to know more about their availability. It's possible they rest, as Valverde has quality players to cover for them.
