After spending the night in Prague following the tough and unexpected defeat suffered in the fourth matchday of the Conference League group stage against Mladá Boleslav, Betis returned to Seville early on Friday afternoon to start preparing for their visit on Sunday to the Reale Arena. The green-and-white team will train behind closed doors in the coming minutes at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol and will do so again tomorrow, before traveling to San Sebastián for a match in which Pellegrini will continue to face a considerable number of absences.

From the extensive list of injured players who couldn't make the squad for last Wednesday, the only one who could return tomorrow to face Real Sociedad is Abde. The Moroccan winger was ruled out at the last minute for the trip to the Czech Republic due to a viral process affecting his throat. He will be evaluated by the medical staff, and in tomorrow's training session it will be possible to determine if he is fully recovered.
