Just when it seemed that Sevilla could finally count on their starting center-back duo, or at least the one that has yielded the best results, an injury to Nianzou this morning during training will force García Pimienta to once again turn to Kike Salas or Marcao. 

The injury occurred in the right quadriceps and is of high grade, so he could be out for around eight weeks, but we will need to await the medical report. 

HIS REPLACEMENT 

His spot will undoubtedly be filled by Kike Salas or Marcao, with both of them currently having practically equal chances. 

Perhaps Kike Salas may have the edge, especially after Marcao's costly penalty conceded against Real Sociedad, but we won't be certain until the lineup is revealed.
