Girona FC is pleased to announce the extension of the contract of the player Ivan Martin, who has renewed his commitment to the Club for two more seasons, until June 2028. This renewal reflects the Club's confidence in the talent and dedication of Ivan Martin, a player who has shown great progression and commitment since his arrival.

Ivan Martin, 25 years old, is a key piece in Míchel Sánchez's tactical scheme, standing out for his versatility in attack and his game vision. The versatile midfielder from Bilbao has played 12 games this season and has scored a goal. In total, he has played 97 games as a Girona player, with 9 goals and 9 assists, being a protagonist in the promotion to the First Division in 2022 and the historic qualification for the Champions League.

Trained in the youth teams of Villarreal, he has played for Mirandés and Deportivo Alavés, before joining Girona FC in January 2022, where he has established himself as one of the most outstanding players in the offensive midfield position.

Ivan Martin is known for his skill with the ball, his excellent control in tight spaces, and a great distribution capacity, allowing him to create goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates.
