Girona's sick bay keeps growing and the bad news keeps coming. And it's that, Yangel Herrera, who had to ask for the substitution in the 1-1 draw between Venezuela and Brazil, will not return to the field until 2025.

The midfielder, a key piece in Míchel's midfield scheme, suffers an injury in the lateral tab of the right leg's soleus and will be sidelined for 4 to 6 weeks, which leaves him with no chance of playing for the rest of 2025. The Catalan club is clear that they will not push him.
