The absence of Igor Zubeldia, due to some discomfort in the hamstring of his right leg, together with the expected absences of Mikel Oyarzabal and Martín Zubimendi, who have been working inside the facilities after their time with the national team, have been the main news upon Real Sociedad's return to Zubieta, after enjoying a free weekend. Zubimendi returned from the national team with a hip problem that, as expected, will not prevent him from returning to the field in the coming days, ahead of the derby.

Both Zubimendi and Oyarzabal left the Spanish national team concentration on Saturday morning. The former was replaced on Friday against Denmark due to hip discomfort, although everything indicates he will be available on Sunday at San Mamés. On the other hand, Oyarzabal, also back from the national team, will once again wear the captain's armband, as he is suspended for tonight's match.

The absences of the two internationals were expected upon returning to training after the weekend break, but not that of Igor Zubeldia, who arrived at Zubieta suffering from discomfort in his right hamstring.

Imanol Alguacil is confident in recovering the center-back in the coming days, as well as Zubimendi, while awaiting the return of the other internationals to San Sebastián. Additionally, he hopes that no more setbacks arise in Zubieta, following the good news from last week with the recoveries of Arsen Zakharyan, Pablo Marín, and Beñat Turrientes.
