A month and a half before the opening of the winter transfer market, the offices at A Sede are already starting to move in view of a restructuring of the squad. With 24 spots filled and three reserve players regularly integrated into the dynamics of the first team, the main goal for January is to reduce the number of footballers in the celestial dressing room. In this context, a name is already emerging as a priority for an immediate exit: Joseph Aidoo. 

The Ghanaian defender suffered an Achilles tendon rupture in October 2023, which kept him away from the field for a long period. As Claudio Giráldez has publicly stated on several occasions, Aidoo has not yet fully recovered the necessary confidence at a mental level to perform at his best, although in recent weeks he has shown significant improvement. His participation in the recent Cup match was a significant boost to his morale. However, the medium-term outlook is not very encouraging for the center-back, due to the intense competition in his position, which hinders his continuity in the team. 

Faced with this situation, Celta has already communicated to Aidoo's representatives its intention to seek a loan in this January transfer window. The Ghanaian international's agents have quickly accepted the proposal and are working to find him a new destination. In fact, some interested parties have already emerged, and the operation could make significant progress in the coming weeks.
